Network Installation Technician

Konnect Internet is expanding its services and ensuring seamless connectivity for our customers. We are looking for skilled and customer-focused Network Installation Technicians to join our team. In this role, you will visit customers' homes to install and configure routers, ensuring their satisfaction with our services.

If you have a strong foundation in networking and excellent communication skills, we’d love for you to bring your expertise to our growing team.

Installation and Configuration:

• Visit customers' premises to install and configure routers and other network equipment.

• Set up and test network connections to ensure optimal performance.

• Troubleshoot and resolve basic network issues during the installation process.

Customer Engagement:

• Provide clear instructions to customers on how to use the installed equipment.

• Answer customer questions and address concerns regarding the network setup.

• Ensure a positive and professional customer experience during installations.

Reporting and Maintenance:

• Document installation details and update customer records in the system.

• Report any technical issues or customer feedback to the Installation Team Lead.

• Perform routine checks and maintenance when required.

Education and Experience:

• Diploma or certificate in Networking, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related field.

• Experience in network installations or technical support is an advantage but not mandatory.

Skills and Competencies:

• Basic knowledge of networking principles, including IP addressing, routing, and Wi-Fi configurations.

• Hands-on experience with routers, switches, and other network devices is a plus.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers effectively.

• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
